I used a Raspberry Pi zero to take timelapses from my studio in Amsterdam. When turned on, the Pi would go online to find out when sunrise or sunset was going to be. About half an hour before sunrise/set, it would start taking a few hundred pictures. Once it was done shooting, the Pi downloads them from the camera, crops them, stitches them into a quicktime, erases them from the camera and uploads the video with some stats to twitter.com/timelapsebot
