Here’s the revamped version of the Creative Directing Machine that Eric Baldwin asked me to make him. The first version was similar but it used wussier chain and wussier gears and a wussier servo and it crapped out after a couple weeks. Hopefully this time it’ll last longer.

By using a machine like this, I guess it becomes easier and less personal to kill ideas by people you like. It also make it easier to kill ideas that you don’t actually like but that are good for the project you are working on. The wires connecting the controller to the machine are about 6 feet long so the operator can remove yourself from the act of judgement pretty well.
