Position Summary:

As a collaborative member of the Division of Community Services and Health Sciences team, the incumbent will provide operational and administrative assistance to Manager, Student Success to support operational needs of the Student Success Program.

Key responsibilities:


  • Provides administrative assistance to Manager, Student Success.
  • Assists in the completion of human resource paperwork.
  • Assists with creation and maintenance of Student Success Program Community Hubs.
  • Gathers various program data to create spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
  • Assists with event organization and delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:


  • Two-year diploma in Office Administration or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience in an educational context is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience using a variety of technology platforms (D2L Brightspace, H5P, Camtasia, Zoom).

  • Ability to learn and use GBC systems and platforms.
  • Ability to gather data and create reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strengths in organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to uphold the College’s priorities on diversity and equity.


Interview process may consist of a practical skills component.
