We are Canada's only Aviation Retail Store and Flight Simulator Center. Located beside Pearson Airport in Etobicoke, you can join the Threshold Team to serve aviation enthusiasts, flight crew and customers from around the globe!

We deliver exceptional, personalized customer service in our retail enviroment and are looking for energetic and customer-focused associates to join us!

Summary: The Assistant Store Manager works in a fast-paced environment that involves constant interaction with customers and vendors, delivering friendly and courteous service while explaining product benefits and fulfilling customer needs in-store, online and on the telephone. This role also involves providing ideas on growing our business - merchandising, finding new products to carry, ideas to promote our shop etc. Daily tasks include store maintenance such as stocking shelves, merchandising, processing shipments, working under managers to assist in administrative and managerial roles.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks Responds to and handles customer inquiries, requests and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person. Learns about new products on a regular basis. Take reservations over the phone and in the store for our aviation simulator experiences. Keeps up to date with in-store promotions, in-store deals and product locations. Ensures that retail basics tasks are executed efficiently. Identify low stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.

EXPECTED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous retail/client service experience in a fast paced environment is required.
  • Previous store supervisor experience is an asset.
  • Previous key-holder experience is an asset.
  • Comfortable in engaging clients in conversation
  • Aviation knowledge is an asset
  • Ability to multi-task, while providing professional and outstanding client service.
  • Effective time management, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is essential.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Ability to communicate in a second language is an asset

Physical Requirements

  • Working 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Bend and stretch to stock shelves.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
