Job Description

We're on the lookout for a terrific Product Marketing Content Writer to join our mighty marketing team!

The product team has been hard at work creating amazing new products and new features to existing products, and now it's your turn to help get the word out. We need someone who's passionate about creating engaging content for all kinds of channels, from our website and blog to social media channels and sales decks.

If you're a creative powerhouse with a knack for turning customer and product owner interviews into captivating stories, we want you on our team!
Even if you're unfamiliar with the topics, we know you can research and interview like a pro to create top-notch content.

In this role, you'll need to think like a journalist, write like a storyteller, and keep brand, demand generation, and SEO in mind at all times. You'll be responsible for creating content that helps potential customers understand why our technology is the solution they've been looking for and better suits them than the competition’s products.

At BIM Track, the possibilities for content are endless! If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, don't hesitate - apply today! Our fun-loving and smiley team can't wait to meet you and have you become an integral part of our crew.

What you'll do:

  • You’ll collaborate with product, sales, and marcom to develop product positioning, messaging, and content (case studies, whitepapers, and blog posts, and other content) that resonate with our target ICPs
  • You’ll work with the product and technical teams and support the sales team with collateral (e.g., pitch decks, flyers) on how to deploy new product positioning in the sales process.
  • You’ll create useful and enjoyable product and “how-to” blog posts every month
  • You’ll craft 6 case studies per year to showcase our products.
  • You'll work closely with our fun and creative team members to contribute to 360 marcom campaigns.
  • You'll collaborate with our performance marketing manager to help them distribute and measure the success of the content you produce.
  • You’ll create sales enablement tools that will help our AMs, SDRs and other sales professionals achieve their sales targets.
  • You’ll translate technical details into benefits for our users.
  • You’ll research the market to learn about our competitive environment.
  • You'll test marketing product features, and release announcement copy
  • You’ll create materials that highlight our product features and benefits.
  • You’ll work with our SEO expert to identify the best keywords and content pillars for our ideal B2B/SaaS customer.
  • You’ll make sure that our content strategy aligns with our keyword strategy for the website.
  • You'll review and edit the work of others on the marcom team to ensure accuracy in grammar, messaging, style, and tone of voice, and optimize for search and user experience.
  • You'll also assist our community manager in developing product content for our social media channels.
  • You’ll translate English-language content created by a colleague into French.

What you'll need

  • You’re a storyteller in the Tech/Product domain, and can weave a narrative with words.
  • You’re not necessarily a technical writer; but you have a talent for understanding product features and figuring out what benefits they bring and what pain points they address.
  • An understanding of SEO is a must
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics and WebTrends
  • Great communication skills are a must
  • Are you a natural problem solver and numbers whiz with at least 3 years of content creation experience under your belt?
  • We're looking for a team player who can work effectively with people at all levels of the organization and has top-notch written and verbal communication skills.
  • Conversational (not stuffy corporate) bilingual French and English copywriting skills
  • If you're a multitasking pro who can keep the lines of communication open, we want you on our team
  • Are you an entrepreneurial, no-BS kind of person who thrives on contributing to fantastic marketing campaigns and having fun along the way?
  • Bonus points for experience with content management systems like HubSpot and project management tools like Asana

Want to know what kind of people fit right in with our crew? Check it out:

  • We're all about working together and sharing ideas, so we love folks who are collaborative and open to feedback.
  • We're always learning and growing, and we want to hear what you know too! If you love sharing your knowledge, you'll fit right in. And we'll provide you with a supportive environment and mentorship to help you achieve your goals.
  • We're juggling lots of different projects all the time, so it helps to be organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • We're problem-solvers at heart, so if you're creative, curious, and always looking for solutions, we'll get along great.
  • Our team is just the right size to allow for exciting and meaningful projects, while still giving you the freedom to take ownership of your work.
  • We're not afraid of new challenges or trying out new tools, so if you're up for taking on new responsibilities and learning as you go, you'll fit right in with us.
  • Of course, we also offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive health insurance package, and a great work-life balance to keep you happy and healthy.
  • You'll get to work alongside a diverse group of people from all over the world, and we love to celebrate and embrace our differences.
  • You’d be joining a solid team where we all have each other's backs and a desire to deliver results in a fast-paced environment is a must!
  • Plus, we offer a remote-friendly workplace, but if you prefer coming into the office, we've got a beautiful one located in Old Montreal, Quebec City, Manchester and Boston (USA), more…
Sound like you’d fit right in? We'd love to have you on our team!
