The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in downtown Toronto is seeking an Associate Advisor to join a high performing Advisory Team.

What will you do?

  • Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
  • Trading and / or portfolio rebalancing support.
  • Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments and provide regular updates to the advisory team.
  • Effectively respond to client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups.
  • Drawing on your understanding of the business and client needs, you will help execute pre- and post- client meeting work and attend client meetings when required.
  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base
  • Support both the advisory team and our clients throughout the Wealth Management process.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC
  • University degree
  • A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Nice-to-have

  • 4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly developed client service skills
