Jardeg is recruiting Welder 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice to join the Suncor Fort Hills Maintenance Primary Extraction project team on site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a regular, full-time position on a 7/7 shift schedule.
Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment. Welders develop patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders, as well as clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch and welding parts together.
