Company Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Finance who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations for our franchise businesses in the United States and Canada. Reporting directly to the CEO, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in franchising, as well as expertise in multi company consolidations. The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for developing financial strategies, managing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Brief

The Vice President of Finance should have an understanding of business environments as well as the acumen to develop strategies that reduce costs, improve performance and maximize returns on investment. Additionally, they must be able to provide strategic direction with respect to legal transactions such as franchise agreements; relationships between vendor partners such as suppliers; mergers & acquisitions, and fundraises.

To succeed in this role you must have excellent communication skills; the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail; a keen eye for potential improvements in operational efficiency or cost savings opportunities involving finance processes/procedures. Demonstrated competency using accounting software is essential along with having substantial knowledge of corporate finance principles & procedures which includes GAAP compliance experience. An MBA in Finance or a related field will be highly beneficial but not required. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the growth of the franchise business.
Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, tax, treasury, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.
Manage financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Develop and maintain financial models to support the strategic planning process.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the franchise business.
Conduct financial due diligence on potential acquisitions or partnerships.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team (Staff Accountants and Bookkeepers)

Requirements and skills:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a Vice President of Finance or equivalent role.
Experience in multi-company consolidations, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience managing relationships with lenders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This is a W2 Full-Time Salaried Position reporting daily to our Houston office with the following benefits.

Base Salary range of $150,000-$180,000 with Bonus Opportunities
