Full time VETERINARY ASSISTANT/KENNEL ATTENDANT required to join our team. Amherst Veterinary Hospital is a busy, progressive small animal clinic located in Kitsilano/Point Grey in Vancouver serving the community since 1987.
We are a full service hospital with long term staff. We strive to provide excellent quality of care for our patients, amazing client service and a positive environment for our employees.
We are looking for a motivated, responsible, compassionate individual with a strong work ethic. Include.
Duties involve:
· Cleaning of kennels
· Animal restraint
· Walking, feeding and medicating the patients
· Preparation of surgery suite
· Supporting the doctors and technicians in their roles
· Animal husbandry
