Job Description

REQUIREMENT:
A) Operate a manual automatic or transmission highway tractor with a 53' flatbed/step deck trailer adhering to all road safety requirements
B) Perform inspections of trucks & trailers before, during, and after trips, including gauges, lighting and electrical systems, and visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel and air leaks
C) Complete all applicable documenting works
D) Maintain up-to-date Driver Log (all trucks are e-log equipped)
E) Responsible for communicating with Dispatch
F) Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
G) Be able to perform with fork kart
H) Observe and comply with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act
I) Secure and insecure loads using straps and chains & binders

SKILL:
A) Valid A/Z license with a minimum 2 years verifiable tractor & flat/step driving experience
B) Clean abstract/CVOR
C) Good communication skills
D) Flexibility to accommodate different start times
E) Ability to work 50+ hours/week

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

All customers are required to wear a mask curbside pickup available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, vaccination required.

Experience:

• AZ Commercial Driving: 1 year (preferred)
• Flatbed driving: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Air Brake Endorsement (required)
• AZ License (preferred)
