The opportunity


As a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Architect you have a deep understanding of our client's technology and the Microsoft suite, but also an appreciation for their business, enabling you to make strategic recommendations for our clients that support their vision in both a profitable and scalable way. With your seasoned solution architecture skills and business acumen, you are experienced in working in agile outcome-focused organizations. You will provide leadership to project teams to ensure the successful design and delivery of technology solutions. These solutions encompass the full Microsoft suite, as well as other products to deliver market-leading platforms across our clients. Furthermore, your expertise will span multiple clients in different sectors where you will help identify opportunities, develop industry-leading recommendations, and support the growth of our business through your sales and technical consulting experience.


Your key responsibilities

  • Evaluate business input such as processes, requirements and strategy and determine technical solutions to support the business by leveraging a combination of industry expertise, knowledge of software/services, infrastructure, and hardware
  • Design feasible innovative architectural solution that fits the overall business vision, considering functional and technical requirements
  • Create and share solution architecture communication (written and verbal) to all levels of stakeholders from executive leadership, product owners, peer architects to development teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our clients as well as our development team and product managers to provide technical recommendations
  • Support program estimations by helping to size relative efforts, identify gaps, dependencies, assumptions, and unspoken non-functional requirements
  • Participate in business development activities, from opportunity identification, qualification, scoping, solutioning, proposal writing, presentations and demonstrations
  • Lead teams in large digital transformation initiatives as technical leader, providing technical oversight, mentorship, and influential leadership to peers.
  • Oversee a team in technical design and delivery phases
  • This role can be performed from Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia


Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrate a proven and successful track record as a Microsoft D365 CRM
  • Demonstrate passion for technology and insight into trends based on past experiences and value that can be brought to client solutions
  • Ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience to articulate business value
  • Design secure, reliable, reusable, and scalable solutions through incorporating industry best practices
  • Define strategic roadmaps to drive target state architectures through interim states and migration plans
  • Ability to understand, question, and document architectural environments through client interactions
  • Ability to drive clarity within complexity and a high degree of ambiguity to simplify and clearly communication a technical vision and roadmap aligned to business outcomes
  • Provide technical recommendations based on critical objective analysis
  • Demonstrate ability to understand the rapidly evolving landscape of technology along with why and how they can be applied to real world scenarios
  • Ability to decompose technical concept as required to mentor other junior members of the team
  • Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for created architectural solutions for clients as if they were your own to build and maintain
  • Demonstrate technical eminence and inspire those around you to raise the team’s overall skill level
  • Bring a positive and encouraging attitude in all problems and challenges you face each day


To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: computer science, engineering, MIS, or related field
  • Certified in Microsoft Dynamics Fundamentals 365
  • 8-10 years of experience in a senior solution architecture role focused on the Microsoft stack
  • Experience with design of solutions that leverage Microsoft while integrating with other solutions across the digital ecosystem and cloud platforms
  • Experience working with senior level executives to communicate key design features and ability to lead technical delivery teams to align to business outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to create, present, and provide feedback to detailed technical solutions architectural specifications
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile delivery principles and tools/frameworks (e.g. Atlassian stack or similar, Git)
  • Deep understanding of release management along with continuous integration/continuous delivery practices
