Department Overview

TThe Business Banking Divisional Office is an energized team responsible for delivering strategic leadership and capabilities for the Better Business Bank of today and tomorrow. The Customer and Colleague Engagement Strategy (CCES) team supports Better Business Bankers in the pursuit of Our Quest and supports a caring performance culture while having fun doing so! The Sales team within the CCES team supports sales strategy, customer experience, sales effectiveness, and partner management.

The Banker Confidence team is part of the Sales team and seeks to increase the confidence of our Business Bankers by providing and managing tools and resources to help them do their jobs, providing opportunities to develop capabilities and maintain key behaviours, and contributing to positive onboarding experiences. The Business Program Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Banker Confidence.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Operational support of Training Programs run by the Banker Confidence team, by managing program registrations, and following up with colleagues and partners
  • Overseeing training schedules
  • Provide operations and reporting support to advise the business of registration, and attendance
  • Liaising with attendees to collect feedback on programs run, and assessing whether changes to existing programs are required
  • Interact with internal partners to organize meetings and events
  • Identify and implement access to tools
  • Curate and update content related to the Banker Confidence team on the intranet
  • Support the development, implementation, and understanding of training materials
  • Conduct gap analysis in field of programs or training that should be offered to help support development of our bankers
  • Facilitate programs that are led by the Banker Confidence team, which includes, presenting to large audiences
  • Opportunity may exist to lead work streams by acting as a subject matter expert for small scale projects and initiatives in accordance with project management methodologies
  • Provide support to the rest of the team by helping and taking on project tasks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • Passion for helping Business Bankers succeed: The purpose of the team is to help build Business Bankers’ confidence. Success in this role would be difficult without passion for this purpose.
  • Strong organizational skills: The Banker Confidence team has many projects on the go at any given time. The Coordinator, Banker Confidence requires solid organizational skills, to manage the logistics and administration of many of these projects. Several recurring tasks for many different projects will have to be completed according to set timelines. So, the ability to be self-sufficient and organized will be critical.
  • Meticulousness: The Coordinator, Banker Confidence will be responsible for many detailed tasks, which will require strong attention-to-detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills: The Coordinator, Banker Confidence will be communicating with colleagues of various levels of seniority from various groups within TD. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and confidently in writing.
  • Resourcefulness… Ability to act like an owner: The Coordinator, Banker Confidence must act like an owner with all their work. Being resourceful, a strong problem-solver, and able to navigate ambiguous situations will be keys to success.
  • Relationship management skills: This job involves connecting and working with colleagues all over TDBG, and, therefore, requires strong interpersonal skills. The Banker Confidence team is mighty but small and, as such, it is also critical that the Coordinator, Banker Confidence not only be able to work independently but also be a team-player who can collaborate with the rest of the team.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Having proficiency in Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Word is important.
