Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Marketing Manager to lead a team of marketers responsible for our VMHS brands (including Vital Proteins, Nature’s Bounty, Osteo Bi-Flex, Sundown, IBgard, and Fibre Choice). This role will be responsible for identifying and building marketing, brand, and innovation strategies that drive profitable growth and brand health across the VMHS portfolio. This position is based at our North York location, reporting into the Marketing Director of Consumer Health.
A day in the life of a Senior Marketing Manager:
- Brand Builder: Build great brands and Nestle Health Science credibility through translation of insights to action. Accountable for the definition & understanding of the target consumers, ensuring key consumer insights are developed and consumer perceived value is defined. Ensures this information is used effectively in establishing and growing brand love. Ensures team is creating compelling consumer communication and effective media strategies. Develops or applies (locally aligned or global) Brand Essence. Leads the Integrated Commercial Plan process.
- Innovation Lead: Accountable for the development of an aligned 3-year I&R plan across the portfolio . Responsible for prioritizing I&R and resources based on consumer, technical, and financial validations, and results in Bigger, Bolder, Better launches/renovations. Work collaboratively with Retail Sales team to ensure commercial success. Accountable for the outcome and quality of launch
- Entrepreneur / General Manager: Accountable for the development of the short- & long-term brand and Marketing strategies and collaboratively work with internal/external cross-functional teams and agencies to execute best-in-class plans that deliver on financial targets. Accountable for brand Price & Promotion strategies for all retail and online outlets.
- Coach/Mentor: Lead and coach direct reports, actively communicating expectations and providing regular feedback. Works with each team member to build appropriate development plans and ensures that the training activities achieve agreed upon objectives
- Money Manager: Accountable for PFME allocation and team management to maximize ROI, market share, and brand health across the product portfolio.
What will make you successful?
- Minimum 7+ years of successful and progressive Marketing experience, in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Over-the-Counter (OTC), or Consumer Health. Previous experience in the vitamin/supplement category is considered an asset.
- Completion of a University Degree in Business MBA (preferred) or Marketing focus and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with proven track record
- Ownership mindset with a passion for driving results and building strong consumer-centric brands
- Proven ability to navigate through strategic complexity and ambiguity
- Experience in dealing with complex regulatory categories and managing broad spectrum of projects.
- Highly analytical with a demonstrated ability to synthesize data and draw meaningful connections to develop clear & compelling strategies
- Strong communicator and story-teller to be able to influence all levels of the organization
- Passionate people leader that can provide strong coaching and develop high-performing teams
