Job Description


We are hiring a Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Engineering within our AV, Collaboration & Facilities Engineering group. The role will focus primarily on Microsoft O365 collaboration technologies including SharePoint Online and Teams. The role is responsible for, but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SharePoint Online and Teams
  • Provides user interface and assistance relating to the utilization of the business application in day-to-day operations. Provides user training as required
  • Promotes, expands, and matures the organizational implementation of the O365 collaboration suite
  • Research on potential technology solutions and make recommendation on best solutions to meet business requirements and operational needs
  • Developing complex workflows with SharePoint Designer and MS Flow to meet business requirements
  • Customize and branding of SharePoint sites, workflow design and custom web part design to meet business requirements
  • Designs and implements customized reports using PowerBI based on business needs. Documents report specifications and procedures as well as monitors and changes reports
  • Develop applications software projects using O365 products (SharePoint Online, MS Flow, PowerApps, PowerBI) including functional requirements, analysis, applications and user interface design, database design, security control setup, testing, documentation, and implementation
  • Install, configure, and customize commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications to meet approved project requirements
  • Provide application support interacting directly with the end-users, application administrators, and functional and technical resources
  • Prepare metrics, activity and progress reports regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
  • Provide operational activities (after hours as well as weekend changes, responding to alerts, on-call response, ops reporting, communication to end-user, etc.)
  • Involved in incident and problem management
  • Engaging with vendor, when required
  • Key areas would be developing the operation practice would include but is not limited to:
    • Identifying area which require operation development
    • Daily, weekly, month checks for supported applications and services
    • Enhancing backup, monitoring, and alerting with available tools
    • Operational Control Document, to ensure compliance with required standard
    • Reporting / Tracking for usage, performance, and capacity of the platforms as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Monthly operational reports, Creation of Promote to Operation (PtO) standards and documentation

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience managing and working with SharePoint 2010, 2013 & SharePoint Online and Teams
  • Active Directory – Configuration and Management, ACL (Permission & Security Models), DNS, DHCP, FSMO, GPO
  • Required experience with SharePoint Designer and workflows
  • Experience with MS Flow, PowerApps, PowerBI desired
  • Understanding of Office 365 – Management and maintenance of a corporate environment
    • Azure Active Directory
    • OneDrive
    • Understanding of SharePoint
  • Security Principals
  • RBAC Control
  • Strong Communication and writing skills
