Job #4424 – Excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and dynamic Senior Accountant to join the head office of a growing organization! Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will act as a strong right hand and support the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting requirements. The ideal candidate is willing to roll up their sleeves and has a proven track record of driving successful improvement initiatives. This organization offers a collaborative and positive team environment, working collectively to reach their monthly objectives – strong communication skills is a must! Main responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily accounting activities and supporting the month-end close process
• Establishing and maintaining financial procedures and policies
• Assisting with monthly financial statements and ensuring results for all projects are accurately reflected
• Using and enhancing the ERP system to identify and improve efficiencies
• Ad hoc duties as requested

This opportunity will allow the incumbent to be a vital part of the organization, who is trusted to provide intelligent financial information to organization leaders.
Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:

• Progressive experience and/or CPA designation or in final stages of completion
• A minimum 4-5 years related work experience
• Previous construction industry experience considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong Excel skills
• Positive can-do attitude!
