This is a unique opportunity to be part of CGI's team for Montreal's manufacturing sector. Reporting to the Director of Consulting Services responsible for the manufacturer's customers, the successful candidate will act as an SAP EWM advisor.
The candidate must demonstrate experience in managing large projects in complex SAP environments. The incumbent will work closely with our clients to identify their needs, design solutions, configure SAP modules and proceed with the full implementation of software. The candidate has experience in SAP design, configuration and testing and demonstrates an interest in growing and mentoring within a team.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Perform various activities including: process mapping, design, configuration, requirements inventory, functional requirements writing, user training, documentation, ongoing maintenance and improvements
- Master the SAP ERP system, especially with regard to warehouse, inventory and materials management
- Assume responsibilities including: developing functionalities necessary for business process activities, training and support as well as evaluating the effective use of software in the company, designing strategic plans to improve the use of software in the company and making improvements to business processes
- In addition, this position will allow the successful candidate to use his/her skills and experience in working with other advisors, enrich his/her background, contribute to practice successes, make suggestions for effort evaluations and submissions, and develop collateral material.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 2 years of functional or configuration-related experience in all areas associated with warehouse, inventory and materials management
- Ability to define and write specifications, including: configuration, user exit, custom program, SAP reports and script
- Experience in a team leadership role with a mandate to improve existing processes
- Ability to configure, present and discuss best practices and features of SAP EWM and WM modules
- Ability to be primarily responsible for all phases of an SAP EWM and WM implementation: project preparation, requirements identification and analysis, general design document, implementation and configuration, commissioning, post-production support and preparation of documents and training for end users according to the delivery schedule.
- Bilingualism is a plus
