In this full-time Sales and Marketing Manager role, you will develop, execute and measure strategic marketing campaigns in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. You will creäte a business plan and sales strategy for the rental operation market that ensures the attainment of company goals and the growth of profitability.

Responsibilities and duties:
Sales
- Manage organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation.
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
- Handle discovery calls with the sales qualified leads, collect all business requirements of the client and prepare the statement of work.
- Deliver sales presentations and online demos to a range of prospective clients
- Conduct research and travel around if required to identify sport equipment rental and other new sales prospects to utilize the software
- Implement planning and tracking of sales performance (daily, weekly, monthly) to analyze sales results continuously, propose strategies to maximize market penetration, and increase market share
- Maximize Rentrax’s market share through the development of professional business relationships, as well as maintenance of a high level of presence which then enhances customer satisfaction and increases awareness of Rentrax products and services.
- Track sales goals and report results as necessary to measure and evaluate success on ongoing programs and activities
- Reach out to potential customer leads through cold calling and email, with follow up when necessary
- Develop and improve sales workflow automation in HubSpot while maintaining accurate records
- Acquire product knowledge of the Company’s software and its new releases, and similar competing products and services
- Oversee the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals and setting individual sales targets
Marketing
- Search for prospective clients, partners and new target segments and increase awareness in these areas using marketing campaigns, trade shows, webinars, presentations, cold calling and meetings with the goal of creating sales qualifying leads.
- Coordinate graphics and content needed for proposals, social media, and external promotions.
- Develop marketing materials including but not limited to brochures, video and PowerPoint presentations, email templates, website content, blogs, and Company news and press releases.
- Maintain and grow company Customer Relationship Management by implementing marketing and advertising campaigns and presentations in alignment with marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives.
- Take the ownership of the Company website and work with designers and developers to effectively reflect products and services value proposition.
- Set up / maintain the Company social presence in popular social and professional media outlets; train employees how to use and contribute with relevant content to generate inbound and outbound leads.
- Search for and join social groups, magazines, associations and tradeshows that company’s prospect clients may join and target those with proper marketing tools.
- Annually compile SWOT Analysis to develop and implement marketing strategy in capturing market share.
- Work with stakeholders to design and implement and track SEO improvement strategies.
- Set up and manage Google Analytics, AdWords and other and other online marketing tools and provide weekly reports.
- Provide research and collect data from the marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
- Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences.
- Lead recruiting, training and orientation activities of new hires. Mentor new and current staff to encourage personal growth
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
The Candidate
Individuals with the following traits, skills and experiences should apply:
- 5+years’ experience in b2b SaaS sales and marketing field (preferably in one of competitors)
- Post secondary education in Marketing and Sales
- Excellent knowledge in online and digital marketing
- Proven expertise working with Hubspot CRM
- Motivated self-starter with proven selling skills
- Excellent business development skills, strong knowledge of lead generation and nurturing
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new software
- Excellent business development skills
- Exceptional communication skills in English, bilingualism in Spanish or French is an asset
- Team mindset with a collaborative approach with the ability to work independently
- Deep belief in customer satisfaction with ability to build strong client relationship
- Ability to travel internationally, if required
- Goal oriented, organized, outgoing, patient and persistent
- Experience in the rental industry is an asset
