Job Description

We are hiring a Regional Operations Manager to join Mountain Dental Group in Calgary. You will be leading several dental practices to enhance our employees and our patient experience, this leadership role requires honesty, passion for innovation, the ability to collaborate and focus on talent management. We have offices and we are actively acquiring new offices.

The essential qualities are;

- An ideal leader for the position should have a strong drive and enthusiasm for customer service, able to lead by example and effectively organize people while fostering a positive culture within the team.

- A strategic-thinking manager capable of building strategies to strengthen the patient relationship and increase practice production.

- Should be willing to collaborate with the team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible clinical experience, with a focus on improved treatment planning within the practice and clinical team. This will enable our patients to achieve optimal health and wellness outcomes.

- Our key strategy revolves around our people, which is why we require a candidate who can hire and nurture top-performing individuals with transparency and respect, helping them grow and improve their skills.

- The position requires a team player who can collaborate with us and set up legal and human resources related policies to ensure that our clinics fully comply with all provincial regulatory standards.

- Finances are a big part of any business, and the ideal candidate will understand forecasts, budgets, and P&L to achieve objectives.

Job Duties;

- All Dental Administrator Duties

- Planning and implementing office systems, practices, and organizing office operations and procedures; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions

- Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, and onboarding employees

- Lead monthly team meetings; monitoring, and appraising job results

- Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counselling, and training employees

- Provide annual performance reviews for all staff

- Support ongoing management of pre-booking appointments.

- Leads, coaches and motivates the team to consistently find ways to raise the bar in the clinic by delivering an outstanding patient experience and the best clinical outcomes, engagement, and retention of patients.

- Enforce and implement the myriad practice building and management strategies that exist to ensure our offices are well run

- Monitor and manage production capacity and collections

- Achieve the annual revenue budget

- Manage and maintain a staffing strategy that empowers staff efficiency while ensuring the office is always equipped to best support our patient’s needs and the community.

- Manage and maintain a dental supply strategy by working with your team and external vendors.

- Constantly review clinic environment, key business indicators, and customer satisfaction to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

- Manages the team with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote work culture, values, and mission.

- Constantly on the lookout for great talent to join the team by engaging and building a team through effective hiring, and training.

- Excels and is comfortable with ongoing performance management, employee relations, and performance reviews.

- Partnering with the corporate team to develop growth strategies for the clinic.

Job requirements;

This position is challenging, and it requires a candidate with 5 to 10 years of successful experience in leading and motivating dental teams. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leadership and be able to handle the demands of the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
