ProTemps / ProTegé is a respected Canadian owned temporary staffing, permanent placement and executive search corporation. Our offices are located in Mississauga, Calgary and Edmonton. We offer a full range of temporary, permanent, contract and payroll services for all industry sectors. We are currently looking for someone in the Calgary area, to cover a 3-month contract as a Legal Assistant. You would be responsible for:
- Client intake procedures
- Corresponding with clients, lenders, realtors
- Conveyancing of real estate files including preparing mortgages
- Corporate minute book maintenance including filing annual returns and annual resolutions
- General administrative duties
- Bookkeeping, and organizing and maintaining files
The Ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and PC Law
- Strong English language communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and ability to multitask
- Work with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills
- Ability to learn quickly
Requirements:
- Legal Assistant Diploma (or work experience in lieu of diploma)
- Minimum two years of office experience
- Experience with PC Law and real estate conveyancing software
