What you will be doing:


In this new role created to project manage the achievement our top business priorities, you will work closely with our CEO to own the project management of multiple business priorities and ensure that they reach successful implementation.


You will be responsible to create multiple teams of key stakeholders attached to the projects, and lead them through discovery, analysis, planning and delivery of key projects that are all critical to our business.


You will indirectly manage resources and schedule project activities and milestones throughout the full project life cycle. This role also includes risk assessment, management of issues and project change requests.


In your day-to-day you will:

  • Work in collaboration with your manager (the CEO) to identify workstreams that will lead to the achievement of business objectives
  • Liaise with the Leadership team and many other stakeholders to establish key project steps and milestones
  • Project manage and deliver a wide range of projects across all business functions and business units
  • Define statements of work and specifications, as needed
  • Communicate with project stakeholders including customers, sales, and engineering teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Establish an effective and flexible project governance methodology that fits the diverse nature of the projects you will oversee
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and related resources, and chair project management team meetings
  • Oversee preparation process, visual presentations and roll-out of some ongoing CEO / Leadership Team governance components (Business strategy meetings, Board meetings, etc.)
  • Continuously introduce change in a positive manner and ensure alignment of messaging and coherence across the business
  • Prepare high-quality documentation that support project presentation to stakeholders.

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, MBA or related business degree (Or a combination of education and 2+ years of relevant work experience) + Project Management certification as an asset (PMP or similar).
  • Project Management experience, including tracking and planning projects
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Software: Exceptional MS PPT knowledge, Comfortable in the use project tracking software(s) and very good Excel skills
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada or U.S.A
  • Written and spoken English required (French is an asset)
