Nous recherchons un chef d'équipe logiciel expérimenté ayant une expérience dans l'industrie aérospatiale pour diriger notre équipe de développement. Le candidat idéal aura de l'expérience avec les langages de programmation C et C++, ainsi qu'une expérience avec DO-178C et une expérience de chef d'équipe technique. En outre, une expérience du développement d'applications Windows est indispensable.

Ce poste est basé au centre d'ingénierie d'Actalent à Ville Saint-Laurent. Il est également possible de travailler à distance, avec une visite occasionnelle au centre. Il sera également demandé à cette personne de passer du temps dans les installations du client, au moins un jour par semaine.

Tâches et responsabilités principales:

1. Diriger et gérer une équipe de développement de logiciels

2. S'assurer que les projets sont achevés dans les délais, dans le respect du budget et à la satisfaction du client.

3. Communiquer efficacement avec les clients et les autres parties prenantes.

4. Encadrer et former les membres de l'équipe

5. Assurer la conformité avec DO-178C et d'autres normes pertinentes.

6. Examiner et approuver la conception et le développement des logiciels

Position Summary:

Actalent is continuing to build a software division and strengthen its engineering capabilities in Montreal. We operate out of an engineering Facility in Ville Saint-Laurent and have a very collaborative and cohesive work environment. The reason for this opening is that Actalent is investing in making several long-term hires to build a critical mass on its software team. Actalent‘s hiring package for full-time position includes a comprehensive medical benefits package, training and development program, personal and sick days, etc.

We are seeking an experienced software team lead with in the aerospace industry to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience with C and C++ programming languages, as well as experience with DO-178C and technical team lead experience. Additionally, experience with Windows application development is a must.

This position is based out of Actalent engineering center in Ville Saint-Laurent. It is also possible to work remotely, with the occasional visit to the center. This person will also be asked to spend some time on-site with clients, at least one day a week.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a software development team

2. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer

3. Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders

4. Mentor and train team members

5. Ensure compliance with DO-178C and other relevant standards

6. Review and approve software design and development

Skills:

C++, DO-178, agile, DOORS, GUI development, rs-232, Arinc429

Required

1. Experience with object-oriented C++

2. Experience with DO-178 standards in an Aerospace engineering environment

3. Experience with Agile development using sprints

4. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role

Nice to have

1. Experience with GUI development

2. Knowledge of IBM DOORS and ANSYS SCADE

3. Familiarity with RS-232/422, ARINC429, and MIL-STD-1553B

4. Experience with sprints and tasks management in Jira

5. Technical team lead experience

Skills:

1. Excellent organizational skills

2. Solid problem-solving skills, customer focus, time management skills

3. Strong verbal and written communication skills (English a priority, French an asset)
