Job Description

Global Traffic Group is hiring a temporary, full-time, Project Coordinator and is looking for an individual who will take charge of assisting & organizing our ongoing projects. This position involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

To be successful, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines and be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, as well as Asana. You must have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Your ability to multi-task, be a self-starter and have a high level of resourcefulness will significantly contribute to your success in this role.


This is a full-time temporary position scheduled with an approximate conclusion date of November 30, 2023. There is a possibility of extension or permanent placement.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversight & execution of project, including a high level of involvement in project tasks.
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Determining project changes.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Utilization of Asana to create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Participating in the RFP process and its completion.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the project.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study.
  • Project Management Certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in project coordination. Preference will be given to candidates who have direct experience in projects related to growth & expansion.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
