Lambton College, a public community college in Ontario, has licensed its curriculum to Queen’s College to deliver programs to international students in Mississauga. Queen’s College is seeking an instructor to teach diploma programs for international students in Recreation Therapy in one or more of the following subject areas:

• Introduction to Health Care
• Ethics and Values for the Recreational Therapist
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Support Networks and Community Resources
• Therapeutic Recreation Practice and Professional Portfolio
• Leisure Education and Counselling in Therapeutic Recreation
• Therapeutic Recreation Assessment
• Therapeutic Recreation Leadership
• Research in Therapeutic Recreation Current Concepts in Health and Wellness

Requirements:

• Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a directly related field is required. A Master's degree in Recreation Therapy (or directly related field) is preferred.
• Three to five years relevant experience in therapeutic recreation services is required.
• Three to five years of teaching experience in a post-secondary setting would be preferred.
• Applicants must be registered as members of the Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO).
