Description:

Typical Day:

• Read reports
• Connect on manufacturing issues and root cause
• Quality Issues resulting in scrap
• Equipment maintenance
• Machine repair
• Continuous improvement projects
• Reading drawings, designs, looking at existing equipment, make recommendations for machine upgrades

Very fluid days, prioritizing the workload based on what is critical to get machines functioning and continuous improvement.

Mechanical Experience in order to understand the designs and machinery, working with the team to optimize, upgrade, change throughputs, outputs

Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience

• Lean Equipment
• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering
• Solidworks
• Lean Processes:
• .APQP
  • PPAP
  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • 5 Why's
