The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority EMS Division is looking for ambitious and enthusiastic team members to provide a high-level of patient care in a vast and diverse region of Northeast Alberta.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide ground ambulance services.

· Participate in learning and education opportunities.

· Maintain equipment and vehicle readiness.

· Comply with BRFA’s policies and procedures.

Certifications, Licenses and/or Designations:

· Unrestricted Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) currently registered in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACOP) in the Province of Alberta.

· Unrestricted valid Class 4 operators license with clean drivers abstract.

· CPR certificate for Health Care Provider.

Assets

· Minimum 1-year experience working as a Primary Care Paramedic.

· F.A.R.E test or equivalent.

· ITLS and PEARS certifications.

· Professional Driver’s Improvement Course or equivalent.

Hours of work: Original assignment in a Coreflex shift on a compressed work week consisting of 4 days on then 4 days off; a shift shall consist of 12 hours at the basic rate of pay plus 12 hours on-call pay; annual hours are 2190.

Wages: Range from $26.73 to $33.16 /hr based on experience. Accommodations available on site.
