Insight Health Solutions Wellness and Rehabilitation has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Physiotherapist to join the team and build a fulfilling practice.
Insight Health Solutions (IHS) is a provider of third party health services to a variety of sectors. Fully part of THP and embedded within THP Solutions, IHS works closely with our internal stakeholders to deliver high quality, expedited assessment, treatment and diagnostic services.
Insight Health Solutions Wellness and Rehabilitation (IHSWR) is a branch of our Insight Health Solutions department that offers high quality care and exceptional experiences for clients who require rehabilitation services. Insight Health Solutions is fully part of Trillium Health Partners within THP Solutions.
Position Overview:
The Registered Physiotherapist role within Insight Health Solutions will provide clinical assessment and treatment services to clients at various York Region locations as part of an employer contract including Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Georgina, Vaughan and Markham. Services are covered by extended health benefits or on a fee for service basis.
What you will do:
- Perform a comprehensive Physiotherapy assessment including a file review, subjective interview and focused physiotherapy treatment
- Provide assessment and treatment services and documentation in keeping with the College guidelines and standards of practice
- Provide Physiotherapy services at various York Region locations - Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Georgina, Vaughan and Markham
- Participate in continuous quality improvement and evaluation.
- Contribute to the overall vision/mandate of Insight Health Solutions
- Supervision of PTA as required
- Supervision of students as required
Key Qualifications:
- MScPT in Physiotherapy or equivalent – required
- Registered to practice in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Membership with Association – preferred
- Three years relevant experience in assessing and treating patients with a focus on neuro-musculoskeletal conditions
- Certification in Acupuncture or IMS as asset
- Commitment to exceptional client centered care
- Excellent clinical reasoning skills
- Commitment to continuous learning with evidence of continuing education, including professional and personal development courses
- Able to work effectively independently in a fast paced setting
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Reliable, flexible, creative and self-motivated
