Physiotherapist (Full time / Part-time)
About us:
We are looking for practitioners who are passionate about health and wellness, have great communication skills, have a genuine desire to help clients, love what they do, and would like to work in a full amenity clinic, allowing more time to focus on their clients. Large gym is available to be used for any rehab work. Experience/Interest in sports injuries is a bonus but not required. Our clinics provide full administrative support which includes taking care of cleaning, bookings, invoices, supplies, and so much more. This ensures that you can focus 100% of your time on your clients’ therapeutic needs. We are located right next door to a well established and recognized ice hockey rink/facility with a strong referral network of health care professionals and athletic groups. Gym use and classes are available to employees at no cost (some limitations).

Responsibility:
- Evaluates the client’s physical mobility through different procedures such as functional ability tests and by using our fully equipped treatment rooms with supplies.
- Establish treatment goals with patients based on clinical evaluation.
- Implement programs of physiotherapy including the following:
- therapeutic exercise
- Evaluate and modify treatment plans based on evaluation and effectiveness.
- Collaborates with other health care professionals regarding the patient's condition, needs, and progress.
- Communicate with ICBC, WSBC, insurance companies, other healthcare practitioners, and other members of the team. Including writing initial and discharge reports upon request
Qualifications:
- Must be registered to the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC) with good standing.
- Must have professional liability insurance with full coverage.
- Knowledge and experience in handling ICBC /WSBC cases is a valuable quality, but it is not a must.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and members of the interprofessional care team.
- Has a positive attitude towards work and thrives in a team environment.
