As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Pharmacy Manager to lead the team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Position Overview:
As the Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to their patients. You will be responsible for managing a moderate volume of prescriptions, with a significant focus on addiction treatment (OAT) services, blister pack preparation, and walk-in customers. Additionally, you will lead a team, including an assistant, and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, adhering to all legal and professional requirements.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapies and promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Conduct medication reviews and consultations to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical developments, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Act as a resource for patients, offering advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate pharmacy operations to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and stakeholders to promote the pharmacy's services.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a Pharmacist in British Columbia, in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
  • Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Kroll or similar pharmacy management systems.
  • Familiarity with addiction treatment services (OAT) and experience in managing addiction-related medications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in medication counselling and ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiarity with blister pack preparation and experience with walk-in customer service.
  • Knowledge of current pharmaceutical trends, legislation, and best practices.

Compensation:
  • Competitive hourly rate ranging from $55-60/hr, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Option for part ownership in the pharmacy or an annual performance bonus of $15,000-20,000.
  • Benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
