Future Silver Fox Pharmacy in Ottawa (new opening July/2023) is looking for a responsive, enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our dynamic operations team! Must possess a positive team spirit!
Responsibilities Include:
- Follows all provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations which govern the practice of pharmacy at all time
- Work with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately and safely
- Check prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness; communicating concerns to prescriber
- Maintain accurate, organized and complete resident health records ensuring appropriate documentation of health information.
- Participates in ongoing continuing education, remaining current in pharmaceutical, medical and professional licensing information
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Must be willing to be included in an after-hours on-call rotation
Qualifications/Experience:
· Registration and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
· Ability to establish strong partnerships with other members of the health care team
· Knowledge of Kroll Windows and experience with eMAR an asset
