The successful candidate will have a strong background with John Deere engine parts and on-line JD systems and is an enthusiastic, proven salesperson. You enjoy and are familiar with engine driven equipment and electrical power generation. You are familiar with construction, rental, mining, and other similar markets and can build good relationships with our customers.

Summary of what you will do:

  • Provide exceptional parts sales to our inside/outside customers and Service Department.
  • Satisfy all inquiries via all types of communication. I.e., Phone, in-person, email and other.
  • Assist others in the department including shipping when required.
  • Be available to provide on-call after-hours parts support.
  • Be attentive to processes and procedures through continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain a 5S methodology in the parts dept, stock room and warehouse areas.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Work with Procurement Coordinator in areas of parts inventory maintenance.
  • Participate with inventory returns when requested.
  • Handle and process core returns with OEM and other vendor procedures.
  • Be flexible with the department’s needs for staff coverage throughout our operating hours.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized parts stock room, shipping bay and warehouse.
  • Count inventory as assigned by either spot check, cycle count of annual full count.
  • Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and help when required.
  • Load/unload trucks with forklift equipment if required.
  • Keep up to date with parts related training as directed.
  • Possess excellent computer skills and excellent attention to details
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
