Down East Hospitality Inc. is a multi-unit restaurant franchise that owns and operates 8 Tim Hortons Restaurants across HRM. We are looking for someone who has at least 1-3 years of Tim Hortons experience and has knowledge of the quick service industry, taking pride in supporting the General Manager and Owner in the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced business.


What you’ll do

  • Responsible for supporting restaurants with daily operations
  • Pick up daily deposits from each restaurant and drop off at local bank
  • Transfer product, coin, equipment, etc. within restaurants when needed
  • Deliver paperwork/supplies to and from restaurants and head office
  • Help support restaurants and serve guests when restaurants are short staff, supporting the team and motivating them to meet speed of service goals
  • Able to complete daily deposit and support restaurant with cash handling procedures
  • Assist with calling support and troubleshooting when technical issues arise
  • Assist with calibrations and cleaning of major equipment, switching out broken equipment
  • Assist with covering shifts and/or transporting team members from one restaurant to another
  • Complete restaurant self-audits and help prepare the restaurants for their inspections
  • Assist in serving guests where necessary and respond to special guest requests in
  • a friendly manner
  • Comfortable communicating with Restaurant Manager and Supervisors
  • Help train new team members, rotate between restaurants to give support on the floor
  • Coach and mentor the team when needed

Salary to be determined based on skills and experience.

Schedule:

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm

OFF Tuesday and Wednesday (we are flexible with changing your days off but weekends are required)


REQUIREMENTS

  • Drivers License and access to your own vehicle
  • Legally allowed to work in Canada
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Team Player
  • Tim Hortons Experience
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and strong multi-tasking skills
