Scope/ Overview of Position:

SDR Distribution is searching for Operations Supervisor to join our growing team in Bolton

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• You are impeccably organized and use this skill to multi-task in a variety of warehouse operations
• Oversee customer service requests and follow up on any outstanding issues
• Respond to client and internal emails using Outlook
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouse
• Manage workforce for scheduling of staff, daily work direction and supervision including HR management issues
• Ensure safe working conditions including training employees on proper safety methods
• Manage the WMS system for the purpose of entering orders and verifying order accuracy
• Verify work orders upon completion for accuracy and compliance with billing
• Work with UPS shipping software
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience Required:

• A minimum High School diploma is required
• 2-3 years of related customer service and admin experience
• 2-3 years of team lead or supervisory experience
• 5 years experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
• Knowledge and experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems is an asset
• Forklift experience an asset
• You can handle many tasks at the same time and meet deadlines, while keeping cool
• You’re approachable, positive and enthusiastic.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• You are a quick learner with other software systems
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work with all levels of staff
• Excellent organizational skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Overtime is a requirement of this position, as is occasional weekend work.
