Office Services Clerk/Administration – Kelowna Landmark Office

Lawson Lundell LLP is currently seeking a Office Services Clerk/Administration to join our Kelowna Landmark office. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who would like to work in our Office Services Department. The regular working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.


Standard Responsibilities


  • Organize and set-up boardrooms, before and after meetings (Including catering set up and take down after special events and stocking of supplies)
  • Coordinate catering orders for internal meetings
  • Maintain supplies around the coffee stations/lunchroom and stock areas when they are low (This also includes cleaning and upkeep of these areas on a daily scheduled basis.)
  • Sorting and delivering incoming mail and courier items and processing of outgoing mail;
  • Knowledge and operation of photocopiers, printers, fax machines, postage machines and binding equipment;
  • Inventory and maintenance of office supplies;
  • Library filing;
  • Providing Reception relief and general assistance throughout the office;
  • Bank deposits and processing of registered mail;
  • Closing files and preparing for off-site storage and retrieval of closed files upon request;
  • Hours of work will be 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday;
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime will be necessary.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional environment (deliveries desk/food services or reception) is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and solve problems in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to lift and/or move file boxes, photocopy paper, supplies etc. (up to 40 lbs.);
  • Bookkeeping knowledge an asset;
  • Reliable vehicle required;
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Pro-active and service oriented approach is a must
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
