Temporary Full-Time; Approximately 12-18 months

Prairie Centre Credit Union, Saskatchewan’s leading rural-based credit union, currently has a temporary full-time Member Service Representative opportunity available. The ideal candidate will be a results-focused, motivated team player committed to providing top notch service. Reporting to the Manager Member Service & Support, the Member Service Representative will have a genuine desire to respond to member requests and inquires in an effective and efficient manner. Superior communication skills are a must, which will result in the development of a positive, trusting team and member relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first point of contact service to members, in-person or over the phone
  • Deliver sound financial advice to members
  • Identify referral opportunities and appropriately direct to branch staff
  • Support the achievement of branch growth targets
  • Process over-the-counter transactions
  • Manage branch treasury and cash flow requirements
  • Provide administrative support
  • Adhere to security and internal control procedures

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • Proven computer and keyboarding skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Financial industry experience preferred
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Experience completing cash transactions is an asset
