In March 2022, Later was acquired by Boston-based influencer marketing platform Mavrck. The Mavrck platform allows large enterprise brands to automate their influencer marketing strategy for smoother partnerships and performance on campaigns. Together, we’re helping connect creators & marketers to grow their social followings and businesses on social media.


The Affiliate Marketing Specialist is responsible for establishing the Affiliate Marketing strategy and managing all the day to day requirements of the program at Later. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, metric driven and self-starter that rolls up their sleeves and digs into campaign execution, strategy, and analysis. They will be responsible for managing our existing partners as well as actively recruiting new partners to join the program. Partners can include bloggers, influencers, publications, etc. Collaboration with the Paid and Influencer team will be essential in this role as they will need to establish a roadmap to compliment other initiatives already planned.

What you will be doing:

  • Establish the annual strategy and roadmap of the program
  • Forecast, analyze, and optimize affiliate spend and key metrics
  • Lead the execution and support development of the partnership marketing strategy
  • Proactively pivot as needed when tactics aren’t working within program
  • Proficiently manage partner discussions and ensure follow up on all action items specific to the affiliate channel
  • Establish, maintain and promote affiliate marketing calendar
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners
  • Identify, cultivate and develop incentive programs to reward key partners
  • Venture out to find new suitable partners to drive business goals
  • Champion affiliate marketing internally by sharing performance results and provide affiliate training as needed
  • Demonstrate continued desire to expand your skill set for program optimization and expansion
  • Perform regular in-depth analyses and audits of affiliate programs
  • Provide frequent progress reports regarding affiliate efforts and performance metrics to internal and external team members
  • Daily oversight and management of program to ensure maximum ROI is achieved, including but not limited to:
    • Budget & CPA management, commission structure, and contract set up in platform
    • Strategic recommendations on affiliate partners, new affiliate recruits, commission rates &/or promotional ideas
    • Ad copy, asset uploads & newsletter distribution via affiliate network
    • Promo code monitoring, and brand name
    • Monitoring for trademark bidding
    • Negotiating, booking and managing paid placements
    • Monthly management of return reconciliation
  • Stay up-to-date on and monitor industry trends, and communicate these learnings with the internal team, and pass along relevant trends

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational experience
  • 3+ years of direct affiliate marketing experience at agency or in house brands
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
