Job Description
FlagShip Courier Solutions is continuing to grow, and we are seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist who creates dynamic content to inform, educate, or persuade customers and sales leads. This is a unique role, allowing you to engage in various forms and combinations of content creation, multimedia design, marketing strategy, and public relations activities. Goal of this Position
- Develop compelling email marketing campaigns and communications for customers and sales leads.
- Create relevant, accurate and intriguing content for our public website and blogs.
- Coordinate the development of marketing materials for our customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Manage and execute monthly customer newsletters, for multiple segments of the business.
- Manage and execute email campaigns to support launches and events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communication strategies.
- Run our internal newsletter.
- Track ROI for marketing email campaigns.
Content Creation
- Produce creative marketing copy, in the FlagShip brand tone, for website pages and blogs.
- Develop how-to guides and other downable resources for customers.
- Work with sales on creating new presentations for webinars, sales presentations and sales template development as required.
- Develop press releases and coordinate distribution to relevant publications.
- Seek new PR opportunities and develop content for deployment.
Promotional Material
- Coordinate the design of promotional material to share FlagShip enhancements, innovations, features, benefits and brand story for both online and offline channels.
- Manage our partnership and association portfolio. Working with our designer to develop new, unique partner promotional material on a quarterly basis.
- Work with sales on customizing partner program material for onboarding new associations.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years marketing communications experience
- Email marketing experience
- Content creation experience
- Familiarity with B2B marketing is an asset
- Strong time and priorities management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience working remotely
- Knowledge of SendGrid or similar email marketing platforms is an asset
