Job Description

Our client located in Toronto is currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician - 442A Certified or 309A for their manufacturing facility.

Shift: 10:30pm - 7am (Monday to Friday)

Salary: $40.95/hour

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Daily maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the plant.
• Ensuring all preventative maintenance is completed.
• Resolving unplanned equipment downtime issues
• Supporting ongoing continuous improvement projects.
• Diagnosing malfunctions using test instruments and circuit diagrams.
• Maintain and repair electrical/electronic/electromechanical systems
• Following all safety precautions and procedures; ensuring that all equipment is safe before being returned to production.
• Perform all PM related inspections and document accordingly

Requirements:

• Certified 442 A - Maintenance Electrician
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience working as a Maintenance Electrician within a highly automated, high-volume manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of PLC programming and robotics
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic control schematics
• Knowledge of electrical code of Ontario.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player.

Experience:

• Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (required)
