As the Learning and Development Analyst, you play a key role to support our learning infrastructure, with a targeted focus on our learning management system. Here's how a Learning and Development Analyst for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:


  • Improves utilization, tests effectiveness, and customizes our learning management system (LMS) by supporting the ongoing development, research, refinement, and delivery of learning at PCL.
  • Leverages diverse subject matter experts to ensure system solutions meet business requirements and data integration processes support the solution.
  • Troubleshoots and provides technical support to LMS administrators and learners.
  • Supports the research and recommendations of learning and development infrastructure based on stakeholder feedback, market trends, new technology platforms, and best practices.
  • Develops and facilitates learning management system training for administrators, managers and learners.
  • Audits system data to ensure the integrity of records.
  • Designs and manages reporting to support company metrics and KPIs.
  • Identifies opportunities for improved utilization of existing business applications and processes.
  • Plans, documents, communicates and executes system-related change management activities.
  • Establishes and fosters a strong and collaborative approach across PCL

Qualifications

  • Relevant post-secondary training or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Advanced understanding of records management and learning management systems.
  • An integral relationship builder promoting innovation, integration, and collaboration with an extensive array of stakeholders.
  • Learner-focused approach to increase LMS utilization and optimize the end-user experience.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve configuration and functional business issues.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision, and to deploy superior listening and collaboration skills to gather information and meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and manage multiple projects focusing on results.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication. Communicates openly, honestly, and respectfully with diverse audiences.
