has the following anticipated vacancies
for the Fall 2023 semester

DISCIPLINE: VISUAL ARTS (510/511/570)
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Regular full-time contract spread over 2 semesters (available post/poste disponible) for the 2023-2024 academic year leading to possible tenure.
AREA OF EXPERTISE: To teach Visual Arts courses to students enrolled in pre-university and /or professional programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

VISUAL ARTS (510/511)
  • Master’s or equivalent* degree in Fine Arts
  • Master’s degree in a related field may be considered
  • Ability to teach in two or more of the following areas: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography, Digital Media, Ceramics
  • Active professional practice and record of exhibitions required
  • Several years related teaching experience at the post–secondary level preferred
  • Ability to collaborate within a departmental setting to achieve common objectives
  • Willingness to participate in the administrative operation of the department
  • Administrative skills an asset
  • Excellent English communication skills essential
  • Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems
