A well-established and thriving software company located in Ville Saint Laurent is expanding and looking for a dynamic Junior Accountant to join the team. This is a growth role, with incredible opportunities for career opportunities.

Key tasks include:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including, managing accounts receivable, payables, journal entries, ledger reconciliations, cash flow management and the month-end close process.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and collaborate with other departments to ensure complete and accurate accounting.
• Help develop policies and financial processes and internal controls
• Create reporting for decision makers.
• Support the preparation of financial reporting requirements for key shareholders.
• Work directly under the controller

Requirements:

- 2+ years in accounting

- Bachelors in commerce – desire to achieve CPA a bonus

- Hands on experience in the full cycle of accounting

- Strong knowledge of computer systems and excel

- Strong attention to detail

- Able to shift priorities when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
