Length of Term: 4 months (Fall term - September to December 2023)

Hybrid/Remote: This co-op opportunity is voluntarily in person, remote or hybrid. If you decide remote or hybrid, you will be required to work within the province. Remote work outside of the province will not be a possibility.

What you will do?

Let’s start by letting you know which area we are hiring for which is Individual Insurance Operations. We directly support Advisors and Clients with Life and Health Insurance products. Our ‘world’ is focused on processing unique requests for Clients and Advisors in an accurate and timely manner as well as proactively managing our system controls.

Now that you know the “where’, let’s talk more about what you will be doing here. As an Associate on our Controls and Unique Skill team, you will:

  • Develop knowledge of our products and our systems to understand the nuances to consider and what to look out for when processing requests and handling controls.

  • Use your attention to detail to and time management skills to deliver accurately and efficiently.

  • Leverage your problem-solving skills to identify opportunities to improve our processes or do something differently.

  • Use your experience of providing great service to delight our Advisors and Clients.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.

Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance
