Provide support to the global department in the form of workforce planning, employee training and leadership development, performance and talent management, compensation and benefits, disability management, recruitment and talent acquisition, conflict resolution and employee relations and organizational development
Collaborate effectively with HR functional area partners (HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Talent Acquisitions, Learning and Development) and across regional and functional leaders and teams within the organization
Effectively manage the assigned HR Service Delivery team to ensure that all HR transactional activities for the business group(s) are achieved with a high level of quality and accuracy
Identify internal and external employment issues, skills gaps, and market trends that may impact the business group(s) by recommending opportunities for improvement of the identified areas, and leading the change management activities
Conduct a needs/gap assessment as the business group(s) continue to grow or evolve by analyzing and reporting on HR metrics through data retrieval from the HRIS system and measuring results of the HR programs and initiatives including retention and engagement
Consults in the area of change management strategy considering the goals, resources required including communications with the business to influence leaders and others to be change agents; adjusts HR strategies to respond to changing business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Admin, Human Resource Management or related field
CPHR designation is required
Relevant HR experience as a senior level HR Business Partner, Senior HR advisor or HR Manager
3+ years' of management experience in a global company, matrix model an asset
