This will include an integrated platform for relationship and people management, learning, intranet and data warehouse. In order to achieve all this, we are now recruiting for an HRIS Data Analyst.

The HRIS Data Analyst is responsible for the data migration efforts required for the implementation of Cloud-based enterprise technology solutions tied to the The Salvation Army’s digital transformation program. The position will play a vital role in providing input into and implementing the Data Migration strategy and working with key stakeholders and external partners in the process to collect, cleanse, transform and load data into our Human Capital Management system.

What You’ll Do

  • Undertake essential data integrity, complex queries, analytic and report generation tasks and conduct data consistency and quality checks
  • Collaborate across the organization to identify requirements for analysis and recommendation support
  • Create custom queries and use tools to mine our data to drive decision making around our data migration strategy
  • Work with internal stakeholders and System Integrators in gathering business requirements for data migration needs and data mapping requirements
  • Work across multiple project streams to understand data usage and implications for data migration
  • Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements
  • Prepare data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details in conjunction with the implementation Team

What You Bring

  • A university degree in computer science or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in human capital management systems required. Experience in Workday and/or UltiPro, preferred.
  • Knowledge of BI/Analytics platforms required. Certifications are asset
  • 7-10 years previous Data analysis/migration project experience leading and participating in Cloud-based/SaaS system implementation migration projects
  • Experience of working in complex, multi-systems / companies and in high priority and highly visible projects
  • Experience of working within delivery teams for projects of significant size
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel. Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint.
