Ontario Line South

Our team is mobilizing its design and construction crews, with major works to commence in 2023. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.

The project will strengthen Ontario s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.

What is the project?

• A six-kilometre tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River)
• Stations:
• One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station
• Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations
• Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown)

Here are a few key responsibilities:

• Assist with the creation of organizational policies, procedures and guidelines, employee engagement programs, HR manuals, organizational charts, etc.
• Plan onboarding strategies and perform new employees orientation to deliver an exceptional early experience
• Prepare and produce reports relating to specific needs of the HR and business objectives
• Manage employee database and process documentation
• Provide recruiting assistance and candidate screening when needed
• Support employees when any human resource issues or queries arise
• Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices

Key skills that will help you be successful in this position:

• Highly organized and able to manage in a fast-paced environment.
• Client focused and service orientated, with demonstrated leadership and ability to es
• Superb verbal and written communication.
• Strong understanding of best practices and regulations specific to HR.
• Creativity!
• Establish and maintain relationships with staff.

What you need

Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;

Working towards or completing CHRP designation is an asset;

5 years of HR experience in an advisory capacity;

Able to travel to Mississauga when required
