Job Description

The world's leading sign and graphics franchise is seeking a full-time Front Desk - Customer Service Team Member for its
location in Calgary. The ideal candidate will bring new ideas and improvements to business practices while conducting themselves in a fair, respectful, ethical, and moral manner in all situations, and must be able to work well independently or as part of a team. This entry-level position provides room for growth and advancement while receiving on-the-job training. The ideal candidate must be mathematically inclined, have strong phone and communication skills, administrative skills, be able to provides excellent customer service, follow-up, and accurately assesses all customer signage needs; also assist with in-house marketing programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond efficiently to all walk-in customers and telephone inquiries to determine sign needs, provide recommendations and estimates, and assist with the order process.
  • Assure customer satisfaction & send thank you cards with orders.
  • Process all work orders accurately and obtain customer approval.
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Work closely with our Production Team to answer any questions they may have concerning current work orders.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with vendors to obtain quotes and follow-up on orders in process.
  • Implement effective marketing strategies within the store.
  • Support franchisee and sales force as needed with reports, invoices, and paperwork.
  • Cross-train in other areas of the store.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional store appearance at all times.

Qualifications include:

  • MUST be computer savvy and have experience using Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience is a PLUS!
  • MUST possess strong writing skills including spelling, grammar usage, punctuation, and proofreading.
  • The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Business/Marketing, and at least one year of experience in a direct marketing/sales role (Not required).
  • Some experience with graphic design, construction, signs, or fine arts is preferred.
  • Possess a good understanding of basic sales and telemarketing techniques.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical Demands: Must have the ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
  • Physical Demand: Must have the ability to operate a computer for long periods.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
