Xypex Chemical Corporation is manufacturer and distributor of proprietary crystalline waterproofing products in over 90 countries worldwide. The company has been in business for over 50 years and is seeing a huge surge in demand for our products. We are looking for a Forklift Driver/Store man to work in our Richmond based batching and packaging plant. This is a full time permanent position. - Dayshift Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm (With the possibility of working afternoon shift in the future 2:00pm - 10:00pm)

- 3 - 4 years experience in a manufacturing and warehousing environment

- This position is expected to stage, wrap, label and move pallets of dry powdered cement around the warehouse. The warehouse is small with tight areas so efficiency and safety is extremely important. The position will be loading raw materials and other materials from incoming trucks/containers as well as loading finished goods into trucks/containers. Applicants must have a valid forklift license with a minimum of 3 years of this type of experience.

- This is a physically demanding job and includes wrapping and moving of finished goods onto and off pallets. This will include lifting and standing for long periods of time.

- Ability to communicate effectively and understand verbal instructions is important. The job requires keeping track of lot numbers, weighing and labelling product. Computer experience is an asset.

- Employees are required to wear steel toed shoes and dust mask.

- After successful completion of 90 day probationary period employees will be eligible to participate in a monthly production bonus plan. Depending on the amount of product produced during the month employees can expect an additional $6/hr - $8/hr. With a starting wage of $22/hr + $6/hr employees can make $28/hr. Benefits also begin after the 90 day probationary period.

- Candidates must have reliable transportation and live in the lower mainland. Not accepting candidates relocating from outside the Vancouver area.

- During the 2nd interview stage there will be a forklift driving test in the warehouse.
