Location: Hamilton, ON
PAY:
- $35 - $40 / hour (depending on experience).
- Company-paid benefits after 3 months.
- RRSP matching program.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 421A Heavy Equipment License.
- Driver’s License class "G" or better.
- Be knowledgeable about gasoline and diesel engines, vehicles and equipment.
- Be knowledgeable with small engine equipment.
- Tire installation certification. (or willingness to obtain)
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Days of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional on-call may be required.
- Purchasing of new equipment and vehicles.
- Review budget monthly and oversee a shop team.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and small engines with the support of the shop team.
- Support snow removal operations - transitioning equipment from fair to winter weather (plow installation).
