Areas of Responsibility:

• Deliver stone slabs to and pick them up from specified locations with the most efficient routing system
• Verify all items listed on the sales order are loaded and delivered
• Operate the assigned equipment, drive and deliver in a safe manner while following all applicable Ontario Highway Traffic rules
• Report any unsafe equipment or working conditions to your supervisor
• Wash the vehicle as weather and operating conditions require maintaining a clean vehicle
• Follow the regular vehicle maintenance schedule provided by your supervisor
• Complete truck inspections and logs, Report any needed repairs or special maintenance to your supervisor immediately
• Communicate effectively with customers and all colleagues
• Follow company delivery procedures
• Must be able to work flexible hours as directed by the business needs
• Performing other duties as assigned

As our ideal candidate, you’ll have:

• A valid DZ driver's license
• Have been driving for at least 2 years
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• A clean driving record with no traffic violations
• Great customer attitude and attentiveness
• Physical strength and ability to do some heavy lifting with Electric Pump Truck
• Ability to operate a vehicle for 8 hours
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using GPS devices
• Disciplined, organized and self-motivated with a genuine drive to succeed
