Compensation is base salary. We also offer paid vacation time, sick/personal days and fully paid benefits after 3 months’ probation (Life, Accidental Death & Disability, Short and Long-Term Disability, Extended Health, Dental, Employee Assistance Program and RRSP Program with company matching your contributions, up to 3% of your salary).


As our Deployment Specialist, you will be responsible to provide deployment and support for Safe Fleet’s Fleet and Routing customers; the support includes, but is not limited to, installation/upgrade procedures and troubleshooting of software and customer interfaced systems, deployments, asset tracking.


You will

  • Deploy and maintain Safe Fleet’s Fleet and Routing software for customers with a concentration on Safe Fleet’s Waste and Recycling solutions
  • Provide customer support & tech issue resolution via phone, email and other electronic mediums
  • Provide training to external/internal customers in the use of Safe Fleet systems
  • Configure and control the software requirements and release cycle
  • Provide excellent customer service in all situations
  • Communicate technical terms in a non-technical format that our customers can understand for troubleshooting purposes
  • Provide support and assistance on other service activities


You should have

  • At least 2 years of experience in software deployment and integration
  • Experience with & broad knowledge of database query tools & SQL
  • Familiarity with Windows Servers—building and maintaining them
  • Experience with Active Directory—its General Knowledge & Integrations
  • Good skills in scripting and coding with PowerShell
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organization skills
  • Strong customer relation/service, interpersonal & communication skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with proper phone etiquette
