Our Client in Parkhill is looking for a G Delivery Driver to join their company.

The role is responsible for delivering Meat cuts to our customers (Ottawa -GTA-London -Windsor) and assisting with tasks and inventory processes in the facility. This position is full-time and physically demanding, and candidates must have a good traffic history with some delivery experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver meat cuts to customers as needed.
• Pick and stack meat cuts as customer orders and delivery schedule.
• Pick up materials and supplies from vendors.
• Other collection and errands as organized by operation.
• Use and fulfill delivery system requirements and reports.
• Interact with unforeseen changes to maintain delivery schedule.
• Always commit to Safety and sanitation requirements.
• Vehicle and facility cleanliness.
• Help in inventory stocking and management.

The Delivery job is physically demanding:

• Driving for several hours.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Work and support operations in a cold refrigerated environment.

Essential Job Skills Necessary for Success as a Driver

• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, Delivery orders, and meat types.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Flexibility to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a good traffic history.
• Have at least 2 years of delivery experience

This is a full time job, Monday to Friday- Delivery can be arranged for a Saturday, with the option to have a weekday off.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
